An engaging and enlightening program, "Exploring The Sculptures' Garden," is tailored for children aged 9-13. Delve into the captivating world of 20th-century sculptors and their unique perspectives on gardens, landscapes, and open spaces.
Language of Instruction: The program will be conducted in English-French in case of English difficulties, Please note that Hungarian will not be used during the sessions.
Program Description: Step into the realm of sculptors from the 20th and 21st centuries. Throughout the sessions, the dedicated instructor, Salwa, will guide the young participants through a captivating journey into the spatial concepts these remarkable artists embrace, we will create simple sculptures from wood, paper, metal, wire, textile, brick-a-bracks inspired by artist work all fascinating iconic artist such as… H. Moore, George Cutts, Richard Hudson, David Smith, Jean Arp, Barbara Hepworth, Louise Bourgeois, Dan Graham, Antony Gormley, Peter Randall Page, Vanessa da Silva,laes Oldenburg, Per Inge Bjørlo, Diane Maclean, Ai Weiwei, Olafur Eliasson, Fujiko Nakaya, Sol Lewitt, Niki De Saint Phalle, Elmgreen & Dragset, Tony Smith, Anthony Caro, Eduardo Chillida, Bruce Beasley, Fujiko Nakaya, Tony Cragg, Jeff Koons, Niki De Saint Phalle, Diane Maclean, Jean Tinguely.
About the Instructor: Salwa Benkaid Kasbah Ph.D. student from Algeria, a sketcher, architect, and landscape architect, will lead the sessions. With a knowledge and a passion for art and spatial design, Salwa will inspire young minds to think creatively about the world of sculpture and its relation to the environment.
